Special Events “Paint Your Pet” Party, with Katherine Rausch, March 30 & 31 @ Surf Unlimited, OIB. to 10 people per night • $65/pp, proceeds will be donated to Paws-Ability
Photos With the Easter Bunny! $10 (1 child’s breakfast included with each pose) Tickets $7 adults, $5 child, sold in advance. Members encouraged to take envelopes of 10 tickets to sell. See Karen Arnold
Spring Fest in Southport. Friday & Saturday, April 19 & 20, Franklin Square in Southport. Paws-Ability’s first time at this event, by invitation. Chair: Mary Beth Mount. Sign up sheet avail able for volunteers,
“Battle of the Bands”, Shallotte. sponsored by Brunswick County Chamber. Friday & Saturday, April 19 and 20, near Lowes Home Improvements, Shallotte Sea & Sand Band selected to perform. Cheer them on at 615 PM on Friday night. Tickets available tonight: $5. Please support Sea & Sand Band Fri night 615 PM petfood donation from Dog Daze Pet Supplies. Picked up and distributed to rescue groups and feral cat feeding programs. IV. Pet Education Program (PEP) A.Will be featured in SMB issue to be released in April. B.Jesse Mae’s Spring PEP started Thursday, March 14 Derrillyn Harbeston Need teacher volunteers Every Thursday, for 6 weeks – Contact Derrillyn or Ann tonight C. If you want to change animal welfare tomorrow, you must begin today.
V. Update: Stella’s Touch. We think Stella would be proud of the pets she has helped with 15 cases so far this year. Program is not nearly so complicated as initially started. Fence for elderly lady.ST meetings will begin Diabetes meds for a cat that is the world tro a senior couple HW treatment Orthopedic treatment for a dog hit by a car. Dental for a cat living with a senior on fixed income
The list goes on and on but all of these pets remained with their owner instead of ending up in a shelter.
VI. Sponsorships • Sponsorships available for 3 Upcoming PA events in 2019. 2019 sponsorship pricing:. $250. for one event, $400 for 2, $600 for 3 • Paws-Ability raises funds to help the rescue groups and to promote animal welfare • Sponsorships are critical to each event’s success • Remember to patronize, recognize, and thank our sponsors!
